Some 7,000 guests gathered Thursday evening for Paris’ annual Dîner en Blanc, the city’s largest — and perhaps most chic — picnic. In a tradition that’s endured for 20 years now, the fete is always held at a secret venue, with the location revealed just an hour before it begins. This year, partygoers flocked to two of the city’s most romantic spots — Notre Dame and the Place des Vosges. Tradition also requires guests to dress entirely in white — which creates quite a stunning twilight vision, with suits, lace dresses and all sorts of white lighting up the sky. Later, everyone hit the dance floor for a scene that was part prom, part summer wedding.
