Ann Romney and First Lady Michelle Obama made the chat show rounds this week with Obama gabbing with the girls of “The View” alongside her husband (their first joint daytime show interview) and Romney stopping by “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.” Romney took the term “late night” perhaps too literally while Mrs. Obama stuck with her tried-and-true ensemble.

Green dress: Cap-sleeves? Check. Square neckline? Check. Full skirt? Check. The First Lady knows what silhouette works for her, but she’s starting to skew predictable.

Black leather get-up: We love that Romney tried something different but leather, laser-cut eyelets, large shell buttons and chunky jewelry? This look is just a hodgepodge of forced provocation.
