BIGGER, BETTER: Nine West’s third annual Runway Relief program will continue to raise awareness for the Council of Fashion Designers of America’s Fashion Targets Breast Cancer during New York’s upcoming fashion week, expanding the initiative with new products and brand partnerships. In addition to Nine West’s signature biker boot and tank top, this year’s Runway Relief collection includes a drawstring backpack for $149, aviator sunglasses for $38 and a newsboy cap for $44. Jet by John Eshaya has also teamed up to design a pair of jeans for the initiative, and Hanky Panky created two styles of underwear emblazoned with the FTBC logo.
The collection, available now at ninewest.com, will launch nationwide at Nine West stores in September, though the boots will also be available at Lord & Taylor.
The brand will partner with Fiat for Fashion’s Night Out on Sept. 6 to host an event with Nigel Barker at the Nine West Rockefeller Center flagship. Fiat will donate a Fiat 500 to auction off in October with all proceeds benefitting FTBC. Barker shot models Chrissy Teigen, Elsa Hosk, Ajak Deng, Jessica Gomes, Ariel Meredith, Ilona Novacek, Catrinel Menghia and Elena Melnik in a Runway Relief campaign and video styled by Kate Young.
