ITALIAN PRIDE: At the presentation of Tod’s photographic book on Monday evening, chief Diego Della Valle was all for “team building” and solidarity, in light of the difficulties Italians are facing, urging them “to be proud” of being Italian. And the collection of photos on display at Milan’s prestigious Brera Academy of Fine Arts was meant to help build this pride.
“They represent the true Italian lifestyle, which is equivalent to Tod’s DNA,” said Della Valle of the diverse men selected for the “Italian Portraits” tome, captured relaxing at home, riding their horse, or strolling in the country. “Nonostentatious good taste is the common denominator of these men of solid, traditional Italian families,” said Della Valle.
