FRETTE EXPANDS: Frette is expanding its home wear business. The Italian luxury linen, home accessories and at-homewear company will debut a new label, called “Frette At Home,” hitting stores in spring 2013. Designed by creative director Vincenzo Dascanio, “Frette At Home” will comprise design pieces for the home, in addition to accessories, such as lamps, frames and table lines. “I like to build up brands and I’m happy to support Frette’s tradition and design excellence, carrying our uniqueness into the future,” said Frette chief executive officer Laurence Franklin. To help the launch of the new brand, Frette will convert 26 of the company’s 48 freestanding stores in Italy under the “Frette At Home” label.
