HACHE TAG: There’s a new name on the New York Fashion Week schedule this September. Hache, sister to Italian brand Ter et Bantine, will stage its first-ever fashion show here. Like Ter et Bantine, the contemporary brand is also designed by Manuela Arcari, and the decision to present during fashion week is part of a larger strategy by parent GFM Industria SpA to step up the brand’s visibility globally. “New York catwalks are not the final goal but a strategic stepping stone for Hache,” GFM chief executive officer David Agus said. “We realize the crucial importance of the American market, and we plan on further consolidating our commitment to our Asian partners who are showing their trust and esteem with the two single-brand stores that are about to open in Seoul.” The spring 2013 show will take place at Pier 59 Studios on Sept. 9.
