HEAVENLY STARS: The Art of Elysium’s sixth-annual Heaven Gala will take place Jan. 12, the night before the Golden Globe Awards. At a pre-celebratory dinner Wednesday night at David Arquette’s house, it was announced that this year’s event will be curated by Academy Award-winning costume designer Colleen Atwood, who will present guests with her own version of heaven while being honored with the Visionary award. A fashion show will include Atwood’s own designs, along with musical performances. Arquette will receive The Spirit of Elysium award for bringing the arts to hospitalized children.
This year’s host committee includes Justin Bartha, Kirsten Dunst, Shepard Fairey, Topher Grace, Finola Hughes, Sarah Hyland, Minka Kelly, Jaime King, Kidada and Rashida Jones, Ali Larter, Hayes MacArthur, Amy Smart, Carter Oosterhouse, Rain Phoenix, Busy Philipps, Brittany Snow and Alicia Witt.
