IT’S EASY BEING GREEN: After their high-octane awards ceremony appearance earlier this week, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge cut a more low-key profile when they stepped out Wednesday night.
Kate and William were on a visit to the U.K. charity Centrepoint in Camberwell, south London, of which William is a patron. The Duchess wore a simple green Ralph Lauren sweater dress to the engagement, nipped in with a black belt and paired with black knee-high boots. William wore dark blue pants, a blue sweater and an open-necked shirt.
The couple was set to watch a cookery class held at the center, which aims to help young people who are homeless find education, training and employment. Seyi Obakin, chief executive officer of Centrepoint, told Press Association: “For someone of [William’s] ilk, of his own accord to want to come here and meet [young homeless people] is a powerful motivator — [it] says there is somebody who cares.”
