JOHNNY’S AUCTION: Olympic figure skater Johnny Weir is selling selected items from his personal wardrobe with luxury consignment firm shoplindasstuff.com, with the seven-day auctions beginning Monday. Among the items up for sale are a vintage Chanel jacket worn by Weir as a judge on “Skating With the Stars,” skating costumes and black Riedell figure skates. In addition to apparel, there will be handbags, shoes and accessories up for auction.
Among the brands represented in addition to Chanel are Versace, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Dolce & Gabbana and Balenciaga. Starting prices for the auctions are based on current resale values for the items, and a portion of the profits will be donated to The Trevor Project, a national nonprofit organization focused on suicide prevention among lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning youth.
