BOO-BOO GAGA: Lady Gaga’s appearance at Harrods on Sunday night predictably attracted hoards of the singer’s fans — but by the time she arrived at the Knightsbridge emporium, the crowds were booing rather than cheering. According to Britain’s Press Association, when Gaga arrived at the store to promote her new fragrance, Lady Gaga Fame, she disappointed fans by arriving more than an hour late, at 8:45 p.m. rather than at 7:30 p.m. She also neglected to walk the full length of the black carpet laid out for her arrival, so the hundreds of fans who had gathered weren’t all able to catch a glimpse of the star. One disgruntled fan told PA: “It’s quite ironic [the fragrance] is called Fame, because it just shows how much fame has changed her.” Once inside the store, the singer held a tea party for 75 competition winners. They ate black macaroons, in honor of the fragrance’s gothic black flacon and black juice, which becomes clear once sprayed.
