IN THIS CORNER: Explosive as he was once known to be both inside and outside of the ring, Mike Tyson seemed to not dance around a Twitter threat to open fire during his Broadway show Tuesday night. During his 90-minute one-man show, “The Undisputed Truth,” the former world heavyweight champion referred to “the bomb scare” a few times, but thanked the crowd for coming out and made note of the NYPD Hercules team outside the entrance to the Longacre Theater.

Clearly aware of the shock value of some of his show, Tyson said at one point, “You know that’s Spike, right?” referring to the show’s director, Spike Lee. And then joked that Lee was also behind this week’s ruckus.

Tyson also didn’t pull any punches when recalling his past, whether describing his mother’s battle with alcoholism, how a bully beheaded one of his pet pigeons or his “Cheers”-like existence at a juvenile detention center. Before getting into an all too graphic rehash of his marriage to Robin Givens, he promised to be brief to avoid having her try to relaunch her career, like she has for the past 20 years. Clueing the crowd into the fact that they continued “to have relations” after their divorce, Tyson gave an amusing play-by-play of turning up for one of those rendez-vous only to have her drive up later (in the white BMW convertible he had bought her) with an unsuspecting Brad Pitt. Allegedly high, the golden-haired actor went all “Matrix” on Tyson insisting they were only reading lines together. Not missing a beat, Tyson said how far Pitt has soared and made a public appeal to him, saying how he would very much like to work with him today.

Expletive-heavy as he was, Tyson certainly gave the crowd plenty to mull over. And showgoers like “Real Housewives of New Jersey” regulars Joe Gorga and his wife Melissa may have a new take on their own reality. The former champ was true to his word, having told his audience early on, “I promise you will leave with both ears tonight.”
