GARDEN VARIETY: Roberta Armani swung into London earlier this week to host the EA7 Emporio Armani Summer Garden Live event at the brand’s store on New Bond Street store. The event was meant to mark the Olympic host city’s summer of sport and showcase the EA7 active wear line’s global ad campaign called “Sense of Being.” It is dedicated to seven different disciplines and features athletes from water polo, boxing, fencing, and rhythmic gymnastics. Guests included Oliver Jackson-Cohen, Douglas Booth, Vanessa Kirby, Freddie Fox, Gemma Chan, Amber Le Bon, Max Brown, Ben Grimes and Oona Chaplin. There were performances by Friendly Fires, Kyla la Grange and Delilah as well as a DJ set by Rizzle Kicks. Amber Le Bon said she was most amazed by Armani’s secret garden behind the store. “When you walk in, there’s like this secret oasis of land in the back,” she said.
