SOLEMN MOMENT: The final engagement for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge on their trip to Singapore was a solemn one, with the couple visiting the Kranji Commonwealth war cemetery to view the graves of Allied soldiers who died during the Second World War.
The Duke and Duchess, who wore a custom-made Jenny Packham dress and carried a parasol, laid a wreath on behalf of Queen Elizabeth II and the Duke of Edinburgh. The couple went directly from the cemetery to the airport to catch a flight to Malaysia.
There, the duchess is expected to give a speech about the role of hospices.
