SECONDARY NATURE: Rue du Mail, the fashion label launched by Martine Sitbon in 2007, has launched a secondary line designed by an independent studio. Dubbed rdm by Rue du Mail, the line’s first collection will launch for the fall-winter 2012-13 season and will enter stores from July. The line is said to channel Rue du Mail’s main codes — femininity and androgyny — offering affordable, versatile pieces such as jackets, dresses, blouses and tapered pants, with washed silk, wool, mesh, leather and Latex among materials used. Retail prices go from 90 to 600 euros, or about $130 to $850 at current exchange rates.
