VALENTINO IN VENICE: It wouldn’t be a red carpet without Valentino, a fashion house long associated with scarlet dresses and Hollywood glamour. The Italian maison has teamed up with W magazine for an event on Aug. 30 at the Hotel Cipriani in Venice, where editor in chief Stefano Tonchi will join Valentino’s creative directors Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli and a smattering of celebrities for a celebration of the city’s 69th annual Film Festival.
