VERY VALENTINO: Somerset House in London will celebrate Valentino and his couture with an exhibition in November. “Valentino: Master of Couture” will feature more than 130 creations by the Italian designer. From Grace Kelly to Jackie O., the show will highlight key pieces worn by stars and royalty, including Jackie Onassis’ wedding dress from the designer’s 1968 White Collection, the vintage design worn by Julia Roberts at the Academy Awards in 2001, and Princess Marie-Chantal of Greece’s wedding gown. The show will be curated by Alistair O’Neill, Patrick Kinmonth and Antonio Monfreda. Personal tokens, photographs, and invitations from the designer’s archives will aim to offer an insider’s view into his life. The exhibition will run from Nov. 29 to March 3.
