The Roaring Twenties groupies were back en masse at the ninth annual Jazz Age Lawn Party on New York’s Governors Island last weekend. Straw boater hats were tipped, pearls were aplenty and the St-Germain was free-flowing, despite the prohibition-era inspiration. Michael Arenella and His Dreamland Orchestra were snazzy as usual at the biannual event, but it was the chic flapper dresses and knee-highs, striped suits and bow ties, and retro swim garb that stole the show.
