A much-needed break in Southern California’s recent heat wave allowed attendees at Los Angeles Fashion Week to break out their fall clothes. While some went back to school with varsity jackets, knee-high socks and bow ties, others relied on jackets of all sorts. The scene outside the shows often mirrored the runways, incorporating trends such as vivid colors, cutouts, metallics, sheer layers and shorts. And this being Los Angeles, there was still plenty of bare skin on display.
