Rick Paterno is stepping down as president and CEO of the Highline United Group.
The executive, who joined the team in January 2013, will leave the firm next month for “personal reasons and to spend more time with family,” according to a statement.
“I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my time at Highline,” said Paterno, who managed a portfolio of brands such as Ash, French Connection, Luxury Rebel and Elie Tahari. “I’m sad to leave but feel that with the restructure complete, I am leaving the group in an excellent position.”
The company will search for both internal and external candidates to fill the position. Paterno’s resignation is effective June 6.
“Rick has been extremely effective these past 18 months in reorganizing our group and creating a strong platform for future growth," said EVP and COO Roger Monks. “We wish him all the best in his future endeavors.”
Prior to joining Highline United, Paterno served as group president for footwear at The Jones Group Inc.
