It was a busy week for footwear players, with a host of brand parties and an industry soirée. On Tuesday night, Ugg Australia celebrated the opening of its men’s store on Madison Avenue with special guest Tom Brady, while designers, retailers and buyers gathered for the trade show’s opening party at Bryant Park Grill Wednesday. There, FFANY President and CEO Joe Moore announced the FIT student design winners from a contest with DSW, while later that night the industry hit the dance floor.
