Mad Hatter
Mum’s the word for Janie Bryant. While the “Mad Men” costume designer was tight-lipped about fashions in the final season, which premieres next month, Bryant did admit that her wardrobe often mirrors the characters’. “Megan Draper always inspires me, or vice versa. I don’t know which comes first,” she said. “I would love to have her closet.” Also in her wardrobe is one classic pair of shoes that she refuses to part with. “I have had my Valentino boots for about 10 years now. I just can’t get rid of them,” she said. “It’s a combination of practicality, with a 2-inch heel, and the pizzazz of crystals.” Elsewhere, you might find Bryant in something more low-key. “I have Puma wedge sneakers in bright gold and black and rose gold,” she said.

On the Move
Forget March Madness, April is going to be just as crazy for Alexandre Birman. At the beginning of the month, the designer will travel to New York for an event at the Schutz store on Madison Avenue and then will fly back to Brazil two days later to compete in a half Ironman competition. At the end of the month, Birman will welcome his second daughter. “I’m going to become a dad again. There is a lot going on,” he said.
