IN-HOUSE MOVE: Proenza Schouler is taking its public relations efforts in-house. Jenny Kim is joining the New York label designed by Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez as vice president of global communications. Kim was most recently vice president of public relations at Prada USA. Before that, she was vice president of fashion at PR Consulting — where she worked with Proenza Schouler, among others — which has handled the designers’ p.r. since they founded their firm (and will continue its working relationship with the brand). Kim started her p.r. career at Helmut Lang when the designer was at the helm of the company. At Proenza Schouler, Kim will report to McCollough, Hernandez and chief executive officer Shirley Cook.
