SWEDISH TRIFECTA: Hennes & Mauritz AB is sticking to homegrown talent for its fall men’s campaign. The Swedish fast fashion chained has tapped Swedish-American actor Joel Kinnaman, soon to be seen in the remake of “RoboCop,” as the face of its new advertisements, shot by — you guessed it — a Swedish director, Jonas Åkerlund.
Kinnaman is featured in the press and broadcast campaign wearing key pieces from the collection, including a green varsity jacket layered over a navy crewneck and denim shirt.
The commercial will premiere on the brand’s Web site hm.com on Oct. 5, with edited versions going out on television.
H&M confirmed last month that it had tapped Lana Del Rey as the face of its women’s fall ads.
