ACTING UP: Red-carpet maestro Elie Saab drew his fair share of starlets — including Laure de Clermont-Tonnerre, Clémentine Poidatz, Linh-Dan Pham and Marie Gillain — in need of frocks. Former model Anna Sherbinina, who is working on a movie with Oscar-winning director Régis Wargnier, said she likes to keep an eye on fashion to help develop the costumes for her characters. “And you know, couture really is theater itself. It’s a whole performance, with the music and the setting, never mind the gowns,” she said.
Fellow front-rower Chantal Thomass, who knows a bit about fashion herself, revealed she’s working on an A-to-Z gift book for the holiday season about her favorite things, such as B for boudoir.
