GENERATION GAP: Guests at the Armani Privé couture show in Paris on Tuesday ranged from stalwart fans Sophia Loren and Claudia Cardinale to newbie Shailene Woodley.

“It is not my first fashion show, but it’s my first Armani show,” said the American actress. Woodley will soon resume filming her TV show “The Secret Life of the American Teenager” before starring in the independent movie “The Spectacular Now.” “I’m going to be very busy,” she said.

Zoe Saldana said she had just wrapped actor-director Guillaume Canet’s “Blood Ties,” which co-stars Clive Owen and Marion Cotillard, aka Mrs. Canet. “It’s a Seventies cop New York movie, and I know it’s a remake of a film that Guillaume had done here in France years ago,” she said. “I play a character that lives in New York and is sort of intertwined in the whole story of it all, I guess. I don’t want to say much.”

Cardinale is still racking up film shoots at 74. Among her upcoming movies is “Effie,” which stars Dakota Fanning as the teenage bride of Victorian art critic John Ruskin. “My daughter says, ‘Mom, try to take at least one week off once in a while!’” she laughed.

Michelle Yeoh attended with her husband Jean Todt, president of the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile, or FIA, the governing body of Formula One. The pair were on their way to an event in the Champagne region celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Ferrari 250 GTO.

So would they be breaking any speed limits to get there on time? “No, no, not at all. On the contrary,” Todt said sternly, pulling a small card from his pocket. “You should read this,” he said, handing over a card promoting the FIA’s road safety campaign.
