At Derek Lam, Estée Lauder creative makeup director Tom Pecheux chose to do a “spooky, earthy eye” as the centerpiece of the beauty look.

Pecheux used a mix of Lauder’s blue, gray and green shadows — Pure Color Instant Intense EyeShadow Trio in Camo Chrome, Pure Color EyeShadow in Ivy Envy and Lucidity Translucent Loose Powder in Transparent — and blended it out for a big egg-shaped halo around the eye and eyesocket.

Pecheux prepped the face first with Lauder’s Revitalizing Supreme Global Anti-Aging Creme, Revitalizing Supreme Global Anti-Aging Eye Balm and Idealist Pore Minimizing Skin Refinisher. Next, he used Double Wear Light Stay-in-Place Makeup,  Double Wear Stay-in-Place High Cover Concealer SPF 35 and Lucidity Translucent Loose Powder in Transparent. Lips were kept simple with Pure Color Envy Sculpting Lipstick in Insatiable Ivory and Intense Nude.

“We’re doing a very voluminous ponytail,” said Orlando Pita, working with T3 and Phyto at the show. Pita sprayed hair with Phyto Phytovolume Actif to give hair texture and volume, then blew hair dry with a T3 Featherweight Luxe 2i Dryer. He then used the T3 BodyWaver 1.75” Styling Iron to put a loose wave in the hair from the ear level down to the ends. Using a comb to create a perfect center part, Pita then added Phyto Professional Glossing Cream and Phyto Professional Strong Sculpting Gel for hold and shine, then scraped hair back into a low ponytail. Pita teased the hair with a teasing brush to create texture and additional volume, then finished with Phyto Phytolaque Sole Light Hold Hair Spray.

Jin Soon Choi created a “fresh, polished and understated” nude look for the nails. She began by applying Jinsoon Power Base to prep the nails, then added one coat each of two nude shades,  Jinsoon Nostalgia and Jinsoon Muse. She finished with a single coat of Jinsoon Top Gloss.
