Nearly every paparazzi shot of Katie Holmes captures her getting in and out of lumbering black SUVs. But on Thursday afternoon, the actress decided to hoof it to the Calvin Klein show on 39th Street. Granted, she only walked a little more than three blocks — from Bryant Park — but she did it in 6-inch clompers. “They’re so comfortable,” said Holmes of her greige Mary-Jane style heels with a lug sole. What’s more, Holmes traveled the whole way without getting mobbed by cameramen, tourists or fans. “I had my cool shoes on,” she said with a grin. “I could walk fast.”
